Our first step. A flagship not-for-profit accelerator, that will identify and scale the top growth-stage climate tech companies from around the world, looking to expand into New York. Innovators that will help speed the energy transition in New York, while boosting economic opportunity and job creation for all.

New Energy Nexus

is an international not-for-profit that strives towards an abundant world with a 100% clean energy economy for 100% of the population in the shortest time possible.

New Energy Nexus funds, connects, and grows diverse entrepreneurs to drive innovation and build equity into the global clean energy economy. Started fifteen years ago as the California Clean Energy Fund, New Energy Nexus was and is an integral part of the state’s energy uptake, sourcing, supporting and investing in companies such as Tesla. New Energy Nexus now operates programs in China, India, Southeast Asia, East Africa and the U.S.

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority

is a public benefit corporation whose mission is to advance clean energy innovation and investments to combat climate change, improving the health, resiliency, and prosperity of New Yorkers and delivering benefits equitably to all.

NYSERDA offers objective information and analysis, innovative programs, technical expertise, and support to help New Yorkers increase energy efficiency, save money, use renewable energy, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. NYSERDA has been advancing energy solutions and working to protect the environment since 1975.

The mission of the Energy Department is to ensure America’s security and prosperity by addressing its energy and environmental challenges through transformative science and technology solutions.

The Clean Fight Energy Storage program is made possible by an Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC) Grant designed to fund incubators and accelerators that will harness regional ingenuity and resources, develop pipelines for energy technology to reach the market, and stimulate the formation of new businesses.

The Clean Fight is a coalition member of New Energy New York (NENY), an NSF Regional Innovation Engine and America's Battery Tech Hub, and national leader of workforce and technology development for the U.S. battery industry, made possible by a coalition and their programs along the entire battery value chain.
